Welcome to Elegant Dolls Glitz Pageants! We are a full glitz system. Flippers, glitz dress, hair pieces, spray tans and makeup is allowed! Our first Elegant Doll Pageant will be Saturday, March 12th, 2011 at The Velvet Cloak Inn in Raleigh, NC!

MANDATORY CompetitionS
Beauty Competition
This event is mandatory for all contestants. Contestants will do a simple walk on the stage. Modeling will be in a T formation. Judging will be based on facial beauty, stage presence and overall appeal.
Super model/Outfit Of Choice
This is mandatory for all contestants. Contestants will model their favorite outfit of choice. It can be sportswear, westernwear, swimsuit… anything goes. You may bring your own music. Please make sure it is on a CD with only ONE track. Please make sure it is cued and ready to go when you hand it to the sound person.
Optionals:
Photogenic
This should be a professional head shot. Bring your photo labeled to registration. Judging will based on personality projection, facial beauty, overall appeal, quality and clarity. No frames please.
Portfolio
Bring your best 3-10 photos to registration in a labeled portfolio. (Suggested you may have more photos.) They can be on-location shots or studio shots. They can be head shots, three quarter or full length. Judging will be based on commercial appeal, print model potential, modeling style, quality and clarity. Photos sizes may vary.
Composite
This should be a card or one page of grouped pictures that presents the contestants as a model. Contestant's name, birth date, measurements, and contact information should be included. It can be one or two sided. Judging will be based on print model potential, creativity, quality and clarity. Composite sizes may vary.
Elegant Doll Wear
This is a free style-modeling event. Elegant Doll Wear is the opportunity for you and your child to go out of the normal modeling box, be theatrical, entertaining, fun, creative and bring it all to the judges. It can be elegant, graceful, regal, funny, baby doll, Victorian, Southern, etc. Make sure to model at least 1/4 of the time for the judges. Use your imagination. You may use props and create your own music. You will have a maximum of 30 seconds to set up prop(s) on stage. the judges will be looking for uniqueness and creativity. Always remember safety is first with props. Pro Am is welcome.
Supreme Titles
Divisional Beauty Queens: There will be a divisional beauty queen in each age group. This will be the contestant with the highest score in Beauty only.
Divisional Supreme Queens: Divisional Supreme queens will be crowned in each age group. This will be the contestant with the highest score in beauty, OOC and photogenic.
Elegant Doll Supreme Queens: Petite Elegant Doll Supreme (0-3), Little Elegant Doll Supreme (4-9) and Elegant Doll Supreme (10-up). These supreme queens will have the highest score in the Elegant Doll category.
Overall Outfit of Choice: These Contestants will have the highest score in outfit of choice.
Overall Face Supreme winner: These will be the contestants that has the highest facial beauty score in the whole pageant.
Photogenic Supreme Winner: will be the contestant that has the highest photogenic score in the whole pageant.
Grand Supremes:
0-3 Grand Supreme, 4-9 Grand Supreme and 10- and up Grand Supreme. Cash prizes for Supreme winners!!!
To be eligible, contestants must compete in Beauty, OOC, Photogenic and Elegant Doll Wear
**Remember you don’t have to enter any optional events to win our divisional beauty titles, but you do need them if you would like to qualify for the supreme titles.**
