The Chief Executive Officer and/or her Personal Assistant will visit with you and assess your situation . Every application is assessed individually.
If you are in need of help an application will be completed on your behalf and forwarded to the Disability Services Commission for assessment.

If your case is accepted by the Disability Services Commission (i.e. funding will be provided), your membership to Elba will be accepted upon approval by the Board of Management.
If we are unable to accept your application due to non-funding or other reasons, we will be able to recommend alternative agencies that may be abe to assist you.
If you are funded by the Department of Veteran's Affairs the CEO and/or her Personal Assistant will discuss your options with you.
If funding is approved and your you are accepted as a member of Elba via the Board, your Support Workers will be contracted and trained if necessary before a roster ids put in place for your required care.
This roster will be produced with input from you as well as members of your family should that be appropriate.
