Shooting from the Heart
Somewhere along your picture, there is a golden ratio you always want to achieve for every situation. The rule of the thirds is just two-dimensional. Depth of field is but another dimension. In the end you are dealing with a finite mathematical permutation of concepts that is practically endless. But when you shoot from the heart as an artist, you always come close to achieving that near-perfect picture.
