A Touch of DNA
After winning the Showtime College Comedy Laff-Off at Chico State University in 1990, DNA spent a few years performing around Northern California in grange halls and cheap dives.
Destiny called collect and the next decade and a half found our young hero thrown into many roles: Timothy Leary's chauffeur, Ralph Naders opening act, international journalist, record label owner, DJ, editor, publisher, director, actor, singer/songwriter and novelist. DNA booked thousands of bands in concert series, festivals and award winning community events---but his dream of returning to stand-up proved elusive.
2005 rolled around and the ghost of comedy past drew DNA to Santa Cruz where he now co-hosts a weekly comedy show, manages a wildly successful, comedy show called Planet Cruz, hosts his own comedy show called Comikaze and performs around the Bay Area sometimes solo and sometimes with his rotating band of talent the Pawns of Comedy.
