Year 6 Windmills Year 10 Phone Holder
Year 7 Clocks Year 9 MP3 Speakers Design Club
There are multiple clubs available to students in both Key Stage 3 and 4. We hope these will help engage students and show them extra skills and equipment we may not be able to during lessons.
Each club does have limited space so students are asked to contact the specific teacher before attending to ensure safe numbers within the workshop.
Clubs will also run every term unless otherwise stated and a fair rotation of students will be created. This means students should be able to experience what the club has to offer at least once during the year.

Design Club
Girls into Technology is an after school club available to Years 7, 8 and 9. Our aim is to develop projects and outcomes that appeal more to girls in school, moving away from the notion that Technology is 'just for boys'
Girls will be able to experiance the use of tools and equipment tht may not be available in lesson time, but also develop their existing skills in a more one to one environment. They will be encouraged to create innovative and unique designs and move forward in practical outcomes to work to as high a level as possible.
To make sure this club continues to be successful and promotes a strong and friendly environment there is a limit of 20 students over a term. If you are interested in joining the club please see Mr Watson in T4 or Contact Technology below. (please include your name and form).
Current Projects:
In design club you will learn new skills and discover different equipment to those used in lessons. It will be your opportunity to experiance how to be a designer. You will follow a simlar process ot that in industry by thinking about a product, designing, modeling and making a working outcome.
Projects in the past have included:
Brid houses
Storage boxes
Guitars
Bass Guitars
Lighting
Radios
Date: Every Wednesday (unless otherwise notified)
Venue: T4 - Technology Corridor
There are limited spaces on this after school session so if you are interested please see Mr Watson in Technology
