Failure to monitor the temperature and humidity of your storage area can compromise the sterility of your products.
ANSI/AAMI ST79:2006 recommends the following:
General work areas should be controlled between 68 and 73ºF
Decontamination should be controlled 60 and 65ºF
Sterile storage temperature should not exceed 75ºF / 24ºC.
Humidity should be maintained so that the relative humidity (RH) does not exceed 70% and should not drop lower that 35 %.RH.
50% RH is the model humidity level in storage.
Duro Surgical recommends that you record your sterile storage temperature and humidity daily.
Our units come with a certification of calibration.
