Eric, a certified wine specialist, and his wife Chris, opened the Dudley's Wine & Gifts bar in 2008. Eric grew up around wine and loved going wine tasting, but always felt the usual establishments were stuffy, uptight and a place you couldn't wear your football jersey there. Eric has also traveled the world and is a big history buff, so he adds an extra touch to the information you receive about the wine he carries.
"I always wanted to open a place where you don't have to know how to pronounce the name of the wine or come dressed up, where it's fun and inviting," Eric said.
With different wines featured several times a week at Taco Tuesdays, Singles Night, Business Networking Mixers monthly, Private partys & events, and much more with the sounds of Bob Marley, rock music or 80's Music playing in the background, it is a laid back fun wine experience!
When you sit at the wine tasting bar at Dudley's you often feel as if you're on the set of "Cheers". If you don't meet the people around you, don't worry, Eric Dudley will introduce everyone and make certain no one leaves as strangers. It's part of what he hoped to create when he opened the doors to Dudley's Wine & Gifts three years ago. He wanted those who knew nothing about wine to feel just as much at home as the true wine connoisseur.
