About Me
How I Got Here
I took control of my health at a very young age. I knew what I wanted to look like; I just wasnt quite sure how I would get there, so I started small. I gradually replaced my snacks with more substantial foods and I began exercising. I played soccer for nearly ten years but never on the competitive level. I had always held the mentality that I was only a mediocre athlete, competing changed that. By the time I was in College I had set a healthy foundation for myself but I craved more. I still wasnt in the best shape of my life and that is what I truly desired.
From there I hired a personal trainer for the first time, Sal Ferreira and within a year of training together, the idea of competing arose. Not long after, another trainer was soon helping me with my contest prep. At the time I had no idea what I had gotten myself into but I was not the quitting type and I stuck with it. My heels finally hit the stage in June 2007. That is when I fell in love..
In 2009 I was introduced to Jeremy Minihan, a phenomenal and well experienced trainer/ physique coach. He has taken me to the next level. In June 2009 I stepped onto a national level stage for the first time. I am confident that I have a bright future in the sport and with time, I can only get better.
