PROUDLY SERVING CLIENTS SINCE 2003
The need for accessible, affordable, quality health care in the United States has never been greater. In response to this need, convenient care clinics are being launched across the country to help provide care to meet the basic health needs of the public. These health care clinics, based nearby or inside retail stores and pharmacies, and are staffed by nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician’s assistants (PAs). Health care driven by the needs of the patient is at the heart and soul of the Retail Clinic Industry (RCI). The retail clinics have been called a “disruptive innovation” because they are consumer-driven and they serve as a response to many health care patients who are unhappy with the current conventional health care delivery system – a system that is challenged to provide access to basic health care services when people need it the most.
Feasibility Analysis
A feasibility analysis is a preliminary study undertaken before the real work of a project starts to ascertain the likelihood of the project’s success. Unfortunately, the success rates for small business are quite low. Depending on which statistics you believe, the chances of a new business surviving for 5 years are between 30 and 50 percent. As an entrepreneur, you can greatly increase your chances for success by analyzing your marketplace before beginning. There are several aspects of a feasibility analysis we can perform including:Demographic analysisThe demographic analysis consists of a review of the census, economy, ethnicity, education, and employment of your prospective market. The information is useful in the determination of clinic viability. The information also assists in finding an ideal location for a clinic.Legal feasibilityWe will evaluate local laws and regulations on nurse practitioner (NP) and physician assistant (PA) practice. The regulations placed on NP/PA practice varies among states which is pivotal on the success of convenience clinics mainly staffed by such professionals. Economic feasibilityThe local economy, insurance market, and personal financial situation are important indicators for the success of a new convenience clinic. CC will both gather and analyze this data. CC will also provide a basic example proforma including potential sales revenues, fixed and variable costs, and break-even figures.Market assessmentThe market assessment consists of reviewing existing and potential competitors and performing an assessment of need for a convenience clinic. The market assessment is best performed with a visit by CC to your intended market area. Assessing the market size for a convenience clinic is tricky but a critical part of a feasibility analysis. For a clinic to work, you must have enough customers willing to spend money on your service to provide sales revenues that cover your expenses and, hopefully, earns you a profit. Fortunately, convenience clinics bring true value to the healthcare arena previously not seen and this increases their competitive advantage when compared to existing services. In performing a feasibility assessment it is our intention to assist you in making an informed choice about whether or not a convenience clinic is still attractive and practical for you.

The real estate department will use a stringent site selection analysis for all potential sites and develop and implement a rigorous concept-centric real estate market analysis and site analysis process for all future Convenience Clinics’ nationwide. This analysis is designed to capture all necessary data to make an informed decision about a site. Each site will be chosen for its fundamental demographic make-up, site character, visibility, and ability to reinforce the branding message. The analysis takes into consideration, all possible scenarios including competition, demographics, placement, signage, frontage space, parking, and access.
