Delta Phi Omega is a historically South Asian based Greek organization dedicated to unifying South Asian women, promoting children's literacy, and building leaders of both campus and cultural communities. Grounded in the pillars of sisterhood, honesty, respect, loyalty, and friendship, Delta Phi Omega is the largest, fastest-growing sorority of its kind, with over 33 chapters and colonies across the United States. Delta Phi Omega exceeds the typical notions of a sorority with strength as both a social, service, and philanthropic organization, creating women of culture, compassion, dignity, and fortitude.

"I joined Delta Phi Omega Fall 2009 and it was one of the best decisions I have made. The sisterhood instilled by this sorority is what inspired me to join it in the first place. I joined Delta Phi Omega because the group of girls that rushed me seemed to have so much fun and bond so well; they seemed like a family of real sisters. The best part of the sorority is being able to bond with my sisters and help fund raise for our philanthropy. I have learned the significance of organization, dedication and time management. I have also become a lot stronger as a person."

"I joined Delta Phi Omega because I wanted to be a part of something great. I wanted to have a network of people I could depend on and be able to grow as a person. Now that I am a part of this organization, it has definitely lived up to my expectations. I feel close to so many girls and it is an amazing feeling knowing there are over 1300 sisters nationwide that I can count on. This sisterhood has given me a place I feel I can relate to people and a chance to do great things."

"As an alumni, I am very grateful I received an opportunity to serve as Regional Director. I was able to get to know sisters from all over my region on a more personal level and assist them with issues that their chapter/colony was having. Not only was I able to offer solutions to their issues but I was able to gain a new perceptive on DPO. With each passing year, DPO is evolving and changing. There are new girls, new rules and new traditions but the sisterhood never changes. The respect and love that we have for each other will never die. This truly is a sisterhood for life."

"Since the moment i made the decision to become a part of Delta Phi Omega, my life has changed for the better. I have learned to become a leader, manage my time, strive for success, and most importantly sisterhood. My experiences have helped me grow as an individual, gaining responsibility and values such as respect, commitment, inspiration, and intelligence. I love it because not only has it been a remarkable learning process, but being a part of this organization has helped me give back to the community and bring awareness to our philanthropy, children's education and literacy. There is no better feeling then knowing that you partake in every opportunity to better your community along with your thousand sisters nationwide. "
