About Lorna Kent
Lorna Kent is British and currently lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Lorna recently retired after twenty years working as staff artist for the Please Touch Museum, the children’s museum of Philadelphia.After being released from the confines of painting for specific projects she finds herself drawn to the freedom known only to birds, whose only boundaries are those enforced on them by the human destruction of habitats.The chickens in my portfolio are from around the world. At one time they were endangered species, but are now bred for show to ensure their survival.
