News DedicationThis is a special dedication to my family, and especially to my Mom, in honor of her birthday (18th January). My Dad, my sisters, my brother and I miss her dearly. She was truly one of a kind; the kind of lady that one doesnt easily forget. She was a teacher, singer, recording artiste, actress, philanthropist, radio DJ, writer and generally an amazing human being. She believed in me, even more than I believed in myself. Along with my family, she has been my inspiration and support. For that, I am eternally grateful. Happy Birthday Mom! Well I have decided to sieze the day and get together with some of the most talented music producers in the world, and have a blast!Cover of a Timeless Classic with Blythe!I was hanging out with Blythe, a US-based artiste at my studio and as we were talking about our projects, I mentioned that we should do a song together! So we did! And we have the video to prove it too! So here is Blythe and yours truly, covering the classic duet, "Endless Love", originally by Lionel Richie and Diana Ross.New Song!OK, that's not entirely true! Actually this is an acappella version of a song that I wrote a few years ago. I thought I'd give it a fresh spin by doing this version. That one is still in the works, pending an opening in the director's busy schedule. This video was a quick, simple, performance video without any elaborate storyline or plotline. More on the shoot can be found in my blog.Studio Re-ignitionSadly, one of my music production workstation hard drives totally crapped out on me, leaving me with the time consuming task of getting a new hard drive and reinstalling the necessary software and OS. Thankfully, that's done, so I can get back into the business of writing music again! Video Shoot!So here I am, on the verge of shooting a video for one of my songs. Unfortunately, free time is becoming such a scarce commodity right now that it is so hard to schedule a shoot schedule that will agree with everyone's timetable. I guess the best thing in cases like this is to "Just Do It!" So stay tuned, a music video is on the way here!....Eventually!J i n x Live!I'm so looking forward to getting myself on stage again to feel that adrenalin rush that only live performances can bring! It's been such a long time since I last performed on stage that I think I may have forgotten how. I do however, remember just how exhilarating it feels....to get into a cold sweat before going on stage, with crazy thoughts like forgetting the lyrics to a song or just totally screwing up the performance swirling inside my head, only to have a blast during a performance ending with the sheer adrenalin rush when the audience show their resounding appreciation!I think the time is right for me to lay it on the line again.....for audiences to either love me or hate me. So here goes nothing....rehearsals begin immediately!
