Daniel and Karen Cummins have both been singing individually since they were young and they have been singing as a couple since 2004. Karen graduated with a minor in vocal performance from Liberty University and has over ten years of vocal training. Daniel graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Music Education from Liberty and has nine years of vocal training. Karen and Daniel currently teach voice at The Carolina School of Music, a ministry of Colonial Baptist Church, and Daniel is the director of the Singing Waiters, the high school choir at Colonial Baptist Church.
Both Karen and Daniel travelled full-time with a professional singing group. Daniel placed first in the men's vocalist division of the Worthy Music Ministries Washington State Christian Talent Competition in Seattle, WA, and, as a result, had the opportunity to record a demo for a professional songwriter. He also won Grand Prize in the Washington State Catch a Rising Star Competition in Puyallup, WA.
Daniel and Karen currently participate together in the Colonial Baptist House of Praise Celebration Choir and Praise Team in Cary, NC.
Daniel and Karen specialize in classical, pop and Contemporary Christian music and can perform with a soundtrack or provide their own piano accompaniment. Click here to hear a sample.
