Retired after 27 ½ years as a police officer 16 years at Herkimer County Sheriffs Office, the rest of the 27 ½ years on local police departments. I always worked law enforcement. Very seldom did I work in the jail. At retirement I was Sgt in charge of security for the county buildings in Herkimer.
Military Service
4 years active duty USAF Air/Security Police 1966 to 1970. 16 years NYARNG retiring from the 107th Military Police Company in Utica. Activated for Desert Storm./Desert Shield
Since retiring I have worked for private agencies in their Therapeutic Foster Care Program. Since November 2008 I have worked for a PINS Diversion Project trying to keep kids out of the Juveniles Justice System.
I have liked all of the careers that I have had, but my goal is to make and sell doll houses, doll house furniture, wooden toys and small shelves.
Currently I am set up to accomodate most small to medium projects and have already built items ranging from toy trains to full doll houses. Please see the gallery link above for examples of these and many other items.
