12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

About Me
I have been the Pastor of the Hurt PH Church for a little over three years now. We moved here from Norfolk, VA where I was Senior Pastor for almost 5 years. I served the Living Word Church in Maiden, NC prior to Norfolk for 5 years as Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Praise and Worship Leader. I have been married to Amy now for 22 years. We have three children: Adam (16) Paul (14) and Gracie (5). They say the hardest years with children are when they are teenagers and toddlers. We have both. Yes life is very challenging. One of the greatest gifts God has given us is the gift of Jesus Christ. Through our relationship with Christ other lasting relationships are formed. I believe that the Church is a community of disciples seeking to advance the Kingdom of God. Join me as we partner together in service to build a community of believers who follow the one true God. Then we will be able to advance the Kingdom of God. Our church website is hurtphchurch.org. Come join us in one of our services. Service times are Sunday mornings at 10:50 A.M. and Sunday evenings at 6 P.M. Bible study is on Wednesday evenings at 7 P.M.
