The Latest with Band of Brothers:
JANUARY:
We just finalized and arranged the two songs for our music videos! They are Where the Streets Have No Name (U2) and Rolling in the Deep (Adele). We will also be re-recording and filming for Let Love In from our first CD. We are pumped to let you hear them when we finish recording and filming! Right now the recording is scheduled to be finished before February, and the filming by mid-February. Watch our YouTube channel for them!
We are taking the month of January off to work on these and will start playing shows again in February (check the Tour page for updates).
DECEMBER:
We had a ton of fun rocking out at Howard High School on 12/23! You guys were awesome, we hope to come back and see you again!
Recher was great with Maitre D' on 12/22! Thanks to those of you who came out to see us! You all made our the night. We will be playing with Maitre D' again soon, and possibly feature them in some of our music videos!
Over the past few months, we have been talking about doing a music video, and finally decided to move forward with it! We're going to do a cover of a rather famous song. We'll tell you which one it is once we start filming! :)
As some of you may have heard, we have also started getting ready to record our second album! Plans to begin recording are being finalized, we should be starting sometime this January or February. Keep an eye on this page for more updates!
NOVEMBER:
Thanks to all of who who suppported us this past month at our shows at Lifepoint, and The Warehouse! We had a blast playing for you. We have been brainstorming ways to re-vamp out YouTube channel, we'll let you know when once we finalize our next steps!
OCTOBER:

Because of all of YOU our show with Alice Anna at the 2nd Saturday Cafe on the 8th was completely SOLD OUT! You guys rock for making our night and for singing along to No One Comes Home! We can't wait to see you all at the next show!
Thanks to all of you who came out to our first big show this Fall at Recher Theatre in Towson! That was the first time we played Racing Raindrops and Lonely World live! Thanks for rocking with us!
SEPTEMBER:
Band of Brothers is going to be featured on YOBI.tv's YOBI Celebs this fall! They will be talking about their experience since winning the competition in 2010. Look out for that at www.yobi.tv!
AUGUST:
The studio is currently being revamped to record the second CD, and the first few shows have been finalized!
JULY:
Band of Brothers is currently planning a Fall Tour of the MD, VA, and DC area! Check back soon for finalized tour dates.
Monthly videos are coming soon! We will talk about opportunities to get involved with Band of Brothers and Ivystone Records, give updates as to where we're playing next and how you can get tickets.
JUNE:
More songs are coming together for our 2nd CD! Recording to start this winter.
APRIL:
The band has been hard at work writing material for the next CD. A lot of ideas are being explored including complex live looping and a live MIDI setup.
MARCH:
Band of Brothers' self-titled debut CD is now online at all the major distributors including iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby.
FEBRUARY:

The band has also begun building its own record company: Ivystone Records Inc.
