Expressway A/G church is a group of ordinary people who have encountered and are actively pursuing a far from ordinary Jesus. We seek to represent Christ to our community in an attractive, understandable and Holy Spirit inspired way. Believing relationships are an essential element in this church, we seek to positively engage the people in our community, our region and our nation, believing that God centered relationships change lives and communities.

Missions

Our Mission's Committment

Expressway is a missions oriented church. Our heart's cry is to fulfill the command of Jesus: "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel." Missions Convention is held once a year where we commit ourselves to give sacrificially to spread the gospel around the world. During the year there is a steady flow of visiting missionaries who are given an opportunity to share their call and vision for the fields of the world. Expressway is involved as part of the worldwide Assemblies of God Fellowship that now numbers more than 57 million members and adherents with more than 295,000 churches and preaching points. Not only do we support over 40 missionaries both home and abroad, a number of our people have gone on short and long-term missions trips. Though this church has done much for world evangelism, we know we have only just begun.

Children's Ministry

We are building a city for God one child and one family at a time! The City Kids 4 Jesus staff is full of love and the Holy Spirit! They are trained individuals dedicated and called to serve the children of our community! Lively singing, funny skits, crafts, interactive lessons, and special children’'s presentations are used to teach and reach children in an environment saturated with love. Children’'s Church operates at 11am during our Sunday worship service in our Church Fellowship Hall and gym!

Women’'s ministry at Expressway gives an opportunity to touch the lives of women through outreach, meeting and discipleship. We are reaching beyond personal interests and comfort zones to embrace women of all ages, races and professions. Our goal is to create an environment for women to mentor women-a place where women can learn, practice biblical love, and feel God's love in a very real way!

My wife and I are excited to be pastoring those who call Expressway A/G home! We are committed to helping people experience authentic life change and transformation--challenging them to pursue God by utilizing dynamic leadership, creative worship, relevant preaching, compelling vision, and relational living! We know the joys and stress of life: being parents, a spouse, someone's child, sister or brother, an employee, or just another person stuck in a traffic jam! We have learned to draw strength, joy, peace and wisdom from our Savior Jesus Christ! We would like to personally welcome you to "do life" with the Expressway family!
