Saturday mornings she spins from 11 am - 1 pm with Slip Back Soul. This retrospective show includes Soul, R&B, Funk, Jazz and Blues from the 50s to the 80s. On occasion, DJ Disobedience plays cuts from present artists that borrow heavily of hooks, bass lines, samples and refrains from the songs produced in the Slip Back period. During Midnight JuJu DJ Disobedience spins music where Soul is apparent..Neo-Soul, R& B, Hip Hop, Spoken Word, Soul, Funk, Reggae, Jazz, Blues and Acid Jazz, anywhere she hears smooth tight combinations of syncopation, bass, vocals, instrumentation and lyrics.maybe even a little Merengue or Salsa now and again. dj disobedience brings her radio and event experience to spin at teen and adult private parties, receptions, restaurants and other special events. She can spin the deep soul of the 40's , 50's , 60's, 70's and 80's as she does for her Slip Back Soul show or the funk, hip hop, r&b, arabic, middle eastern, latin soul and funk she spins at live events.

Up to 3 hours of music $250.00
DJ will handle announcements & introductions
Set-Up (1 - 2 hours prior to start time) & Breakdown Included
Overtime $100.00 per hour
If DJ has to supply her own speakers, microphones, etc, an additional $100.00 will be charged.
If you have other entertainment such as vocalists or a band, you MUST supply your own sound technician. DJ disobedience is pleased to make a technician recommendation for you.
