Aqua Madonna Designs, Inc is an accessories company that creates amazing handbags, travel bags, wallets and gloves.
Our design philosophy is simple: create gorgeous handbags and accessories that women love, always keeping in mind style, form and function. We pay close attention to the conveniences of everyday life and incorporate these features to accommodate the needs of todays woman, including cell phone pockets, carry comfort, unique compartments and more!
Lead Designer Diane Schwartz-Schweitzer founded Aqua Madonna and prides herself on combining innovative fashion with high quality and exceptional value. Based on her own consumer profile as a fashion and value-conscious shopper, Diane's motto of creating desire, brings the best quality handbags and accessories to consumers while still offering the best prices possible. Diane goal is to truly fulfill a womans quest for the perfect handbag one that fills her needs for practicality, distinctiveness and fun, all the while looking great!
Aqua Madonna has earned a reputation for designing, developing and manufacturing handbags and accessories that are creative and classic, stylish and casual, elegant but still affordable. We believe that every woman deserves to have the best looking handbags and accessories of the highest quality, and should be able to treat herself without feeling too much of a pinch.
As is evident in each and every handbag and accessory made by Aqua Madonna Designs Inc., attention to detail, form and function is unparalleled. We gather inspiration for new styles by traveling around the world, finding new ideas everywhere we go, from the flea markets of the far east to the most prestigious stores on Rodeo Drive.
Our products are constantly evolving to include new and cutting edge designs, across all categories. Accordingly, Aqua Madonna products are created using custom colors and linings blended with a variety of fine leathers and hardware.

Growing up in Pittsburgh, PA, the worlds steel capitol, Diane was raised with down-to-earth values. Born to a successful candy distributor, her father taught her the importance of catering to the "sweet tooth", while her gourmet chef-mother inspired her to balance the sweet with the spicy. From day one, she learned how to wet an appetite. Every handbag in Dianes line reflects this mix practicality on the inside, delicious fashion on the outside and durability throughout.
It all started when Diane saw someone carrying a handbag that she liked. When she heard how much the woman had paid for it, she decided to try to make one herself. With a degree in Costume and Set Design that she earned at the world-renowned Carnegie Mellon University, and her Masters Degree in Arts Management, Diane figured, I can make this bag even better, at a fraction of the cost! Needless to say, the bag turned out amazingly well and everyone loved it! Diane started getting custom orders from her friends, and this eventually led to her officially opening Aqua Madonna Designs, Inc!
With the launch of Aqua Madonna Designs, Inc., Diane merged her corporate business acumen with her design talent and passion for fashion. Everyone loved the bags she was creating, and Diane loved the medium. And for her, accessories are the perfect items to make because they combine great design, function, and best of all, fashion!
Diane works mostly in leathers because she loves the hand feel and because leather is no doubt associated with elegance, luxury and quality. She chooses specific leathers to compliment each design she creates, making each unique and special in its own way. She likes to create harmony between the leathers and the detailing, i.e. chains for a stylish finishing or adjustable straps for practicality. And because practicality is important, Diane makes sure that each piece offers features to make it easy to carry everything the modern woman needs, from your cell phone to your make-up bag.

Shipping and Delivery Aqua Madonna processes orders within 1-2 business days. Add an additional 2-7 days for standard shipping. In most cases your order will be received within 10 business days. You will be notified of any out of stock or back-ordered merchandise. Unless we hear from you, your items will be shipped when they become available. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.
UPS Express Service - available for in stock merchandise only. An additional $20.00 will be added to your order.We are unable take non-U.S orders online. Please call us to order.
Returns and Exchanges We want your experience to be a great one. Therefore, we are glad to make an exchange or credit your credit card account for any items you are not completely happy with. The item must be returned to within 14 days of the shipping date in unworn and perfect condition. In order to process your return, you must call 310.475.2224 for return authorization. Returns that have not been authorized, will not be accepted or credited.
Please note that all sale items purchased are final sale. Shipping and handling on returned merchandise is non-refundable. We also take a 3% restocking fee for retuned merchandise. Made-to-order items are NOT returnable.

We will promptly credit your credit card upon receipt of the returned items. When an exchange is requested, we will credit your credit card upon receipt of the returned items and then bill you for the new item(s) when they are ready to ship.
If you are returning a gift we will issue a credit voucher directly to the gift recipient. We cannot refund shipping charges.
