GSM Mode
The New GSM Switch has been developed to include both GSM remote operation of a single Output Relay using a Land-Line or a Mobile Phone and also incorporates an R.F Receiver on board of which can be supplied in various frequencies to meet most countries regulatory compliances.
The GSM mode of the GSM Switch permits the output relay to be operated via a simple Phone Call to the unit in either open mode in which any caller can activate the relay or also by the security mode which restricts the access to up to 250 users that can be stored in the memory of the GSM-Switch system.
R.F Mode
The R.F function of the GSM Switch is designed to either mirror the GSM default setting of the relay or can be used to override the relay in the in both the on and the off mode locally up to the range of the R.F in its perticular location.
This override via R.F in this instance can be very useful for when a device has been activated via GSM mode remotely and needs to be de-activated once back on site which can be done via the Remote handset without the requiring to use the Mobile Phone.
In addition the R.F function also provides an important back up for the GSM Mode in the event of a Network System failure or in the case where a Sim Card number has been expired and has been barred by the Network.
Situations like these can render the sole reliance of GSM control for the only form of access a vunrable situation and when a R.F back up becomes an essencial.
The R.F can also be incoporated into a local Keypad so as all of the GSM and R.F are comminicating with the same control unit.
The GSM Switch has a full dual battery back up system that will support up to 8 hours of standby for both the R.F and the GSM system controls and both work independant of each other ,thus you always have an option for access or control.
The GSM Switch can also alert you via S.M.S when the main power has been removed and when it has been restored .
These numbers are indentified as authorised user numbers and can be added & deleted remotely via S.M.S by the administrator or also from a P.C by using the software package supplied with the system.
The Relay can also be pre-set to activate for a set period of any time from 1 second up to 18 hours whenever the GSM Switch is called and this preset time can be Remotely changed via S.M.S or using the Software Programme.
The relay can also be activated temporary or perminently on and off via S.M.S without effecting the default time settings.
In addition the GSM Switch also allows the caller to be informed by S.M.S whenever the relay has been activated and when it has been de-activated and this function is especially useful when controlling remote devices where t he confirmation that they are working is vital.

Gate Access Control via GSM
The new GSM SWITCH has been designed to have the functionalities to not only remotely access automated Gates via thier Cell Phone but also remotely change even the automatic Closing function remotely which will allow any of the authorised users to alter the closing delay time or latch the gates open at any time without requiring to be on site.
Most existing GSM two wire Output systems cannot provide this function and require using an alternatvive Relay Output but with the GSM SWITCH the gate system can be simply configured with only three wires to provide this function without effecting the default settings of the unit when the system returns to its normal operating mode.
This illiminates the requirement for covert switches that over ride the system
or in many cases just blocking the Photcells as a temporary option whilst the
owner has workmen or visitors and the property owner or authorised party are in control of the automated gates system and the security at all times
Gate Access Control via R.F
The new GSM SWITCH has also been designed with an R.F Receiver built into the system of which can be customised also to suit the frequency of any perticular Gate Automation System.
With Gate automation the R.F Remote Control has several functions .
1. The R.F Remote Control function allows the dual operation of being able to operate the auto-gates in the normal localised mode without the requirement of using your Cel lPhone .
2. The R.F Remote Control function also provides a vital back-up system when the GSM Network may be down for any possible period of time and in cases where the GSM is the only source of access.
3. The R.F Remote Control functon can not only mirror what the GSM mode has been programmed to do but can also override the temporary command to save again having to reset the system via the Cell Phone.
4. The same frequency transmitter can also be used and encorporated within the Keypad function on site and comminicate with main GSM SWITCH so as all of the access control systems are linked.
5. The GSM SWITCH also has both power down alarm functions to infrm you of power failure and has an 8 hour duel battery back up system so regardless of the situation you have the reliablity of both GSM and R.F as access options
GSM Switch with Remote Control function
The New GSM-SWITCH is a Cell-Phone remote control system that also has a built in R.F Remote control system as a back up and can be also used as a conventional long range Remote
