Praise is a powerful weapon of spiritual warfare that has often been overlooked and many times neglected. As children of God, we need to utilize the weapons that God has given us as we wage war upon the enemy. Praise will silence the enemy and strengthen the children of God. Praise will release unto you power. You are a Weapon of Praise

Psalm 136:1
Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
Give Thanks
As I read Psalm 136, there seems to be a theme going on, and that theme is, "Give Thanks." I was thinking on the word, "thanks," and it seems that we are so thankful for so many things. There are so many people that we thank each and every day in life, but the question is, how many times do we give thanks to God just because...just because He is good...just because He is Sovereign...just because He is wondrous...just because He is merciful....just because He is your Abba Father...just because He is God...just because.
In the season of thanks, we should not need to be reminded to thank God for all that He has done for us, yet we often end up with amnesia and think we have done it ourselves. God wants us to love Him and He wants us to thank God. God created you for Him and it is our job, it is our duty to thank Him. God sent His only Son..He sent Jesus Christ to die for you and for me, He sent Jesus so that we may have fellowship with God again, He sent Jesus so that we may have eternal life. God is such an awesome God and He reigns from Heaven above.
Remember in all that you say and do, give thanks to God...love God..because our God surely loves you. Happy Thanksgiving.
Prayer:
Father God, we come right now thanking you for our very lives, we thank you for who you are in our lives, God we thank you for being our Abba Father. Lord, we ask that you forgive us for our unfaithfulness to you. We come seeking your face and desiring to do Your will. God, allow us to recognize who we are in you and allow us to be thankful to you each and every day of our lives. Lord, we honor and adore you and we thank you for saving our lives. We love you Lord. Thank you for your faithfulness and love to us. We honor you this day and we seal this prayer in Jesus' name. AMEN.
