My obsession with collecting found ephemera, discarded objects, and wooden boxes provide me with the tools necessary for creating narratives in assemblage and collage. Often these narrative pieces form a visual commentary on contemporary issues which I feel compelled to address. Created purely to satisfy myself, I enjoy watching how others react when they bring their own emotions and interpretations to one of my pieces.
