BIO
Originally from Hayward, CA, Lockhart's stand up career took off in 2000 when she showcased at the World Famous Hollywood Improv. Since then, she has performed her unique, quirky, smart & fun act at clubs, theatres, casinos and colleges across the country; and more recently overseas. In 2008 Lockhart headlined two military tours for Armed Forces Entertainment which took her from South America to Southwest Asia. In August 2009, by popular demand, Debbie returned to the Middle East to entertain troops in Saudi Arabia & Kuwait and a special show in Djibouti, Africa.
Debbie received her first real laughs in 1993 when she became a member of the nationally touring improv troupe, ComedySportz. From there she graduated to L.A. TheatreSports . In 1999, she crossed the Atlantic to represent the company in London's esteemed annual International TheatreSports Tournament.
Along with competing in several comedy competitions, including the
San Francisco Comedy Competition and CA's Funniest Female Competition, Debbie has appeared on Howard Stern Show alumni Gary Garver's radio program, Almost Live , SCI-FI Channel's, Who Wants to Be a SuperHero? and the feature film, The People vs. Larry Flynt.
