ABOUT HAIR EXTENSION INSTITUTE

Lori Ruzek is the owner, educator and Master Extensionist at Hair Extension Institute. She has been a licensed Cosmetologist for 20 years. She currently holds her master cosmetology license in both California and Georgia.Growing up in the beauty field as the daughter of a well-known designer and product developer in the salon industry, she attended her first hair show as a young child. In 1986 Lori¹s father developed the Mega Hair method of hair extensions. Lori quickly became an educator for Mega Hair as well as a platform artist. Lori continued doing hair extensions and promoting Mega Hair through trade shows. In 1994 Lori relocated to the Atlanta area. Beginning quickly building a clientele exclusively focusing on hair extensions. Lori has continued training stylists and instructors on the Mega Hair system while building a full book clientele. She has trained more stylists on this system than any other individual. Lori has played a pivotal role in the latest technology of hair extensions. She is considered a Master Blender specializing in extremely customized undetectable hair extensions. Lori does hair extensions exclusively 5 days per week and although she continues to maintain her client¹s color, perms and cuts she does not see non-extension clients. As a trendsetter in the extension industry she utilizes a complete line of extension products in order to provide her clientele with the ultimate wear & maintenance. Lori maintains a well-rounded clientele ranging from famous adult entertainers to many corporate professional women and men. Lori services clients that travel to her from D.C. to California. She is also available to travel to clients when needed. Lori offers group and private Hair Extension classes.

This procedure can take from 5-8 hours. During the application time our clients may watch a movie from our large selection of videos, read, listen to music or simply relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. The Institute provides lunch and beverages throughout your visit.

The Institute will only share the before and after photos with others with the written approval of the client. We would like to thank each client that has given their permission for us to use their before & after pictures. Without them this would not have been possible. THANKS to you all.
