At CBA, our aim is to develop our students confidence, improve their self-esteem and health & fitness
all in a safe & secure place for them to enjoy and develop their performing skills,
including Pop Singing, Jazz and Street Dance, Musical Theatre, Drama and Improvisation.
Our classes are open to everyone aged 6 to 18 and are separated into three groups:
Juniors (6 - 8), Intermediates (9 - 11), Seniors (12 - 18).
We also offer classes for 3 to 5 year olds as part of our LittleSparx programme

about About
Throughout the year there are many opportunities for our students to perform.
We produce an annual show for all students to participate in. Our students have performed in all types of shows from small-scale Cabaret to big West End shows.
Our classes are for Children and Young People from 6 to 18. CBA students are also able to audition for our Agency for young people aged 5 to 20.
We also run regular one-off workshops, our annual Summer School and have recently introduced the Masterclass Series with specialist visiting tutors.
At CBA we charge no joining fees, you simply pay for your classes!

The Creative Blast Academy prides itself in offering high-quality Performing Arts training for everyone! Whether you are looking for a new hobby, to meet new people, have some fun or train for a professional career – we are here to help you.
All our classes are led by Professional practitioners, workshop leaders and teachers, all of whom are experts in their field and are currently working in the industry. All teachers are fully CRB checked.
Our classes run weekly, and we offer Drama, Dance and Singing lessons, and then all three at the same time! Classes are for all abilities, beginner to advanced. We also offer LAMDA examination classes in Musical Theatre, Acting and Verse & Prose.

Drama
LittleSparx
LittleSparx classes are based around singing, dance and drama in one single 45 minute session. The aim is to give young children an insight into the main academy, build confidence and self-esteem in group situations and have lots of fun!
LittleSparx currently runs at our Grays site from 10.15 to 11am on Saturday mornings.
In our Drama classes we cover techniques that allow our students to develop confidence and skills in self expression. They will learn techniques in improvisation and devising, as well as learning how to interpret various scripts and texts. We also hold seperate LAMDA exam classes for those who would like to take the subject further.
Dance
Our Dance classes are fresh, funky and fun. Students learn various styles including Musical Theatre, Street, Hip-Hop and even Cheerleading!
Students are encouraged to get involved in creating their own dance pieces and often perform work at events and festivals.
Singing
Our Singing lessons help students to get the best from their voices, no matter of their ability. They will learn techniques to use their voice safely and correctly, learn how to harmonise and the difference between group and solo performance. Styles vary and include Musical Theatre, Pop, Rock and Jazz.

I enjoy creative blast with my friends because it brings other children that like doing the same peforming arts together. Most of us dont perform in front of our parents, but when we come together we feel confident. The staff and the colleauges feel like family.
