Communicate DHS band information to junior high band members and parents.
Meals / Tailgate
Coordinate the planning and procurement of band and color guard meals for games and contests.
Membership
Coordinate the booster club membership activities.
Misting Moms and Dads
Coordinate volunteers to provide water misting of band and color guard during outdoor rehearsals, as needed.
Photo and Video
Provide photos and video of band and color guard activities.
Pit Crew
Coordinate volunteers to provide manpower for loading, unloading, and moving of percussion pit equipment.
Plumes
Provide volunteers for dispersal and retrieval of plumes to/from band members before and after performances.
Seat Covers
Coordinate volunteers to ensure that bleacher seat covers are installed and removed as needed by the band.
Spirit Items
Coordinate the procurement, sales, and distribution of spirit items, i.e., polo shirts, decals, flags, etc.
Sponsorship
Coordinate efforts to procure corporate sponsorships and community donations to band.
Student Fundraiser Assistant
Provide assistance as needed to band directors during student fundraiser activities.
Uniform Distribution & Repair
Coordinate the fitting, repair, and distribution/collection of band uniforms.
Uniform Cleaning
Coordinate the occasional washing of uniforms as directed by band directors.
Water
Coordinate the procurement and distribution of water for band during performances.
Website
Provide website updates and redesigns as needed by band, color guard, and boosters.
