Canadian born Artist, Dawn Mader.
Self taught, Dawn has collectively twenty years of drawing and painting experience. Her murals have been showcased in Parade of Homes models, retail and dining establishments, as well as some of the finest homes in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dawn continued her art journey for the past six years in Central Florida and has recently relocated to Columbus Ohio.
While living in Florida, Dawn owned and operated The Frolicking Femme Fine Arts Gallery and Boutique along with three wonderful female artists. She had painted portraits, created and designed art through concepts, created and designed t-shirt logos, and a wrap than can be worn several ways.
An accomplished Artist, Dawn has been commissioned internationally. Dawn has collaborated with her husband, Joe, providing the illustrations and cover design for his published collection of poetry “Inside Out; Reflections of the Soul.”
Dawn and her husband, Joe and their two bearded collies, now live in Columbus Ohio.

Client Consultation
First, we would discuss what you have in mind, the size of the space and art. There are many factors that may be involved when going through this process.
- The measuremet of the art and the space it will be in. - Your budget if you are working with one.
- You may have to choose from color swatches that exist in the space. - Perhaps you’d like to forward several existing designs or artwork that you'’d like your artist to use as reference or inspiration.
- You might want to re-create an existing piece of art but with colors that better coordinate with your designs. - You may have some ideas or themes you want me to work with, or you may want to give me more freedom to create.
- If having a mural done, the final glaze, and paint choices will be a factor.
Preliminary Design and Sketches
(includes, designs, scaled down drawings/paintings of preliminary designs)
After the details are agreed upon, I will start your commission. An approximate quote will be created at this time. The lead-time from date of commission to delivery will take 4-6 weeks. During this time I will send you photographs of your art at various stages of completion so you will be able to see the progress of your art, allowing you request any alterations if need be.
If you are having a mural painted the lead-time is factored into how the painting time is scheduled on site of mural.
Final Art
Upon your approval I will allow the paint to dry properly (1 week) then deliver to your destination. I paint on stretch canvas and supply framework at your request, however can send it to you as is and it will be suitable for hanging. A mural will also need time to dry. (There is no delivery time for a mural, however, travel time will be factored into your project.) After delivery, your ART will be ready to hang and enjoy.
