About About meThrough my work with many different lighting directors I have been lucky enough to work on an extremely diverse range of projects in many different styles, ranging from the simplest single camera shoots, and popular prime time shows such as Parkinson, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, Harry Hill's TV Burp and Piers Morgan's Life Stories to national and international events like The Queen's Golden Jubilee Concerts, Eurovision Dance, The Royal Variety Performance, Live Earth and Children In Need as well as globally recognised brands such as Strictly Come Dancing, X Factor, Britian's Got Talent & The Weakest Link. I also have experience in lighting theatre pieces for television, sit coms & drama; the most recent of which I was involved in resulted in an RTS nomination for LD Martin Kempton.My work in music television is extensive, having programmed for The Album Chart Show, Later with Jools Holland, & Top of the Pops among others, and countless music specials ranging from BBC Young Musician of the Year & The BBC Proms through to Bon Jovi: For One Night Only. My recent work in other areas of lighting has included various films, national and international corporate presentations, and live events. In addition, I have worked as lighting designer on many of my own shows, including a televised album launch for James Morrison and a long running magazine show for BBC 2.As a programmer, I specialise in fast & accurate real-time programming of large rigs, and have a great deal of experience operating a wide range of lighting consoles and media servers.
