Darryl is a graphic artist working with oil, acrylic, airbrush and charcoal mediums. In addition to traditional artwork mediums, he is considered a Master in digital image manipulation - studying applications such as Photoshop from prestigous learning institutions including Winona and M.A.I.P.P.

About me
I am 41 years old, but I guess you could call me an old-timer. We former film photographers had to have talent and had to know what we were doing. There was no Photoshop to save you. We had to get the image right in the lens. I have been shooting photography since the 1980's. I loved it so much I received a photography degree (BS) from CMSU in 1992. I joined the Professional Photographers of America and quickly received my certification (C.P.P.). I received a few merits including a first place award winning print from PPA Heart of America. I attended advanced training for five years at MAIPP (Mid America Institute of Professional Photography). I am mainly a paid portrait/wedding photographer but have experience with architecture, large and medium format, commercial, and some forensic work. I get my style from some of the greats I have been fortunate to have studied under - Christopher Short, Ralph Romaguera, Gary Fong, and the late Monte Zucker.
I took an eight year break from photopgraphy as I started up a computer networking company. I sold Galaxy Computers in 2001 and am back freelancing now. So whatever your needs are, contact me and we can work something out.
Do you already have some pictures but they don't look as good as they can. Or do you want to look like a celebrity? You will need image manipulation artwork (or post-production manipulation). The common falicy now is that anyone can take pictures and make them great due to modern tools like Photoshop. The reality is that if the post work isn't done by a true artist, it will look over-done, odd, or simply unrealistic. I have past experience retouching photographs for a national lab (with real paint) and am now considered a Photoshop master. If you already have images and would like them manipulated in any way, I can help.
