AutoTunerTV PRESENTS Project: LARIAT

Our Project Lariat Ford Super Duty pickup truck is a commercial vehicle that is larger, heavier and built for commercial/industrial use. Our project vehicle features four wheel drive, a larger, heavier built frame, axles, springs, brakes, transmission, more powerful engine and heavier/bigger components with higher payload capabilities than the smaller Ford trucks such as F-250 or F-150. Our truck features an electronically controlled, turbo charged 7.3L Power Stroke diesel engine. In this story we’ll talk about how some backyard mechanics took our father-in-Law for a real ride by claiming they could fix the issues with this truck with some scotch tape, bubble gum, a hair pin and some twisty ties. Needless to say, the truck doesn’t work. We’re going to take to the streets and consult with other owners, experts and enthusiasts, both on web forums and on location. Together, we’ll share our experiences and frustrations with the F-350, brainstorm the problems, find and test solutions, to get this truck repaired and back on the road.

As one of the largest family-controlled companies in the world, the Ford Motor Company has been in continuous family control for over 100 years.
