Simple songs with simple truths , The voice of Americas heartland! SINCE 1989 Danny Baty has traveled all over and wrote over 1,500 songs. A well known band throughout Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri and the southern Honky tonk scene! Signed now with TMG ( Tate Music Group ) out of Mustang Oklahoma. At the age of 12 Danny was playing with his dad Fred Baty in the nightclubs that where scattered across his home area of Jackson County Arkansas. Raised in Swifton and moving to Tuckerman and raising his 2 children Christopher and Jessica there. He calls both of these towns home. He played off and on in the dance halls of the surrounding areas after graduating in 1982 from Swifton High School. Danny has penned over 1500 songs since 1983, the year when he started writing and it became his passion along with performing. In 1989 Danny formed The Danny Baty Band along with his brother David ( Boog ) Baty. The idea for the band came from their sister Lisa, who loved to sing, thought it would be a great idea to start a band as much as they all loved to play. The band got put on halt for a few years when sadly and tragically Lisa age 21 and her son Kenneth age 5 where both killed in a house fire in 1986. By 1989 Danny and David had decided to start the band in honor of their sister. Many roads have been traveled and alot of music and lessons have been wrote and put on paper by Danny since 1989. Danny claims " If you listen, truly listen to my music, you will know my life story and alot about me " He was the house band at the famous King Of Clubs in Swifton Arkansas for over 15 years. He has traveled all over Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missiouri and abroad playing his southern rock flavored country music. He one the 1989 talent search at the Cashs famous White River Hoedown in Mountain View Arkansas. Jackson Counties Best Of The Best Award for Country Band and Rock Band 2 years in a row and Best Band In Arkansas in 2008-2009. He has also been a regular at the Nashville Palace in Nashville Tn on writers nights.
Dannys musical influences include: Bob Seger, Merle Haggard, Kris Kristopherson, Lynrd Skynrd, Bobby Bare and more! His music is a blend of Southern Rock mixed with todays new genre of Country music with a hint of Traditional Country.
