BEFORE and AFTER ARRIVAL

EXPECTATIONS and REQUIREMENTS
Things to prepare before arrivingEmail resume and passport photo.Clarification of paperwork will be constantly monitored by our Vietnam office. Any daily changes in government policy will be notified by email. What happens when you arrive?Over the past few months we have communicated on a regular basis and feel as though we know each other and trust each other on a professional level...1. H.j Consultancy staff will meet you at the airport, look for our H.J Consultancy welcome sign.2. You will be taken to your accommodation. The address will be emailed to you before leaving your country of residence. The address may change due to circumstances beyond our control. 3. Assistance in organising a SIM card for your phone .4. Your paperwork will be processed at H.J SaiGon Consultancy office and then confirmation of your interview with the school(s). 5. Assistance in organising your observation classes (if the school requires).6. Assistance in organizing your demonstration classes (if the school requires). 7. Practicum for 2 weeks (if the school requires). After your successful demonstration class your rate of pay will be advised by the management board of your school. 8. Assistance in understanding your contract (if required). 9. Signing of your contract at your new school.10. Allocation of your teaching position by management of your new school. 11. Being there for support and back-up from the school human resources department professionally and culturally. What schools requireTeacher of English as a native language. All original documents must be sighted. An updated CV/resume. National Police check. Health check. All Transcripts and certifications. Degree(s)/ Diploma(s). 2x Copies of current passport and visa. Copy of passport photo. B.A in another field, TESOL or CELTA and above documents.
6 to 12 Month contracts offered.As of January 2011 a degree needed in Vietnam.Exclusive positions with private primary schools and E.S.L colleges. All applications must be accompanied with a current passport photo and resume. NO BODY PIERCINGS OR TATTOOS TO BE VISIBLE. If you do have any of the following, wear appropriate clothing to cover your body art. All schools expect professional dress codes and must be complied with. T.E.S.O.L, TEFL, CELTA required or study TESOL in Viet Nam with ATA TESOL. Be prepared to work Saturday and Sundays.Must be able to assess a situation and get on with the task at hand...Improvise. Fly by the seat of your pants. Yes, VietNam IS a developing nation and we require professionalism from all teachers. We offer a serious education in this ever changing world.
