IWho we are
We are a group of teenagers who live and/or go to school in Lovington, NM. We are in love with Jesus and we try to live our lives like he did when he was on earth.We have a great time doing this together because Jesus came to give us life to the fullest (John 10:10). In a world of hate, we live out in love.
We are a part of the Third and Central church of Christ (http://centralsource.cc). We worship there on Sundays, attend classes, and other activites at the church building. But our lives are about what happens outside the four walls of the building. Some of our regular activites are classes on Wednesday night and Sunday morning, we usually hang out and have fun before and after class. We hang out on Thursday nights where we just chill and have a good time playing sports, cards, or board games. On Mondays we have what we call "Holy Spirit Highlights."
We do a bunch of other stuff, just keep checking our "news" tab for updates on what's going on!
Daniel Coutinho is our youth and family minister. He teaches most of our classes and helps us with all our activities. Him and his wife, Tiffany, have been working with us since May 2010.
I NEWS
Pig-Out!
Keep your eyes on the calender and your stomach prepared for our first Summer Pig-out! We're going to meet at Chaparral park on June 26th around lunch time. Why? To pig-out! We're going to eat some amazing home-cooked meals and play sports at the park. There is only one condition: Bring someone with you so we can eat all the food!
Service Project
On July 3rd The Lovingteens are going to go show some of that Lovington Love to our community by serving those who need to be served. Jesus served people and we want to be immitators of him by doing the same. Stay tuned for more updates
