Daniel Carles was born on May 13th, 1973, in Caracas, Venezuela. His first radio experience was in 92.9 FM, where he won a talent search show in 1994. Right after that, he was selected to host his own radio show at the same station. Meanwhile, he was getting a major degree in Mass Media and Journalism at the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Caracas. Within six years, Daniel occupied several positions in 92.9 FM, from weekends DJ to Marketing Manager. During those years, he also worked as a TV host for different networks, from local RCTV and Televen to pan regional E! Entertainment Television Lat-Am. In 2001, Daniel moved to Spain in order to get his Master´s degree in Marketing at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. In 2002, he went back to Venezuela to work as a Brand Consultant for RCTV Network and the host for the venezuelan edition of The Price is Right. In February , 2004, Carles started working for FM Center Radio Network as the Production Manager of HOT 94 FM. During six years, FM Center´s Board of Directors appointed him the Production Manager of different radio stations. By 2008, he was named General Manager for La Romántica Network, the most important brand for FM Center.Daniel has also worked as a MC and moderator for various companies such as Procter & Gamble, BMW and Mattel , as well as a lecturer for seminars and universities. Right now, Daniel directs his own consulting firm, IPSOFACTO, giving marketing advice to clients such as Nike and Nintendo.
