Brazilian musician and songwriter. Born and raised in the region between the states of Sao Paulo and Minas Gerais. During his early childhood, his musical interest was sparked by playing in the school orchestra.
In the following years, he performed solo and together with diferent bands , he toured extensively playing all over the state of Sao Paulo and the neightbouring state of Minas Gerais, and even the north & northeast coast of Brazil.
With the band "Negokbça" . This led him to take part in some of the most important festivals of Catalunya and all over Spain.
In 2004, he began recording and self-producing his band..s CD "Relo Rolo" ,It went on to sell over 20,000 copies.
Later in 2004, he took part in another CD-recording with "Shiva Sound" from Barcelona , Spain.
2007 he has composed and produced ,the new childrens song book , Der Kleine Medicus , neuer abenteuer ,with hörverlag 2007 in Berlin , Germany.
Over the years, Daniel has performed with such famous artists as Lenine,Alceu Valença,Trio Virgulinho,Engenheiros de Hawaii,Paulinho Moska,Tribo de Jah,Dominguinhos,Elba Ramarho and others.
His own personal mix of rythmic acoustic guitar, a warm & captivating voice, created his own brand which he calls "Nova Musica Popular Brasileira"(NMPB) meaning New Wave of Brazilian Folk Music. His poetic songs reflect his experiences & travels beginning in Brazil and later leading him to Europe. The compositions have a South American base yet are fused with African & European elements.
2008 realese your first solo albúm "BIOMUSICA" , music for nature,
a independent self production , a warning to the environmental awareness,and
sustainable development, in partnership with the company macboot that has planted over 100,000 trees in Brazil.
Daniel continues working passionately as a musician & songwriter while staying true to his cultural roots & identity.
Songs from "Biomusica" are released in the internacional compilations ,Brasilution 5.6 , Girafe world music.and Brazil Emoçao.
In 2010 and 2011 also new stuff realeased at Brazilution 5.7 together with Frida Rica , and at 5.8 featuring the Berlin band "Berlin Bahia"
In 2010 Daniel make the music for the childrens musical "Der Kleine Medicus" together with Germany composears , this result in a Doble cd with Edel Kids.
