Portrait Parties Portrait Parties Great For Kids Parties or Glamor Shots for WomenPortrait Parties are a Great Way to Earn Free Portraits, While Having A Lot of Fun!What Is a Portrait Party? At a portrait party, I will take professional portraits in your home, or at a specified location for you and your friends or family in mini-sessions using one backdrop (or Outside setting that is appropriate for portraits). Photos can be of children, families, individuals whomever, but there is a time limit of 15 minutes each. No selling will occur at the party. You and your friends just get together, have light refreshments and enjoy having your portraits taken.What are my obligations as the hostess?I will need space to set up my backdrop and lights preferably in a living, family room, den or outside setting, You should provide light refreshments for your guests and invite at least 10 people to your party. You will not need to collect any orders, payments or deliver photos. Just set the date & time, send invitations (Which will be provided to you), have light refreshments (No foods that stain lips, or teeth,....) and earn free Portrait Points towards free photos.Benefits of being a hostess?Host a party with 5 of more guests or groups and earn a free 8x10 of your choice. Earn Portrait Points ~ 10% of your total sales will be credited towards your order! All orders must be placed with 15 days of the Party date to count towards your Portrait Points. I charge $2,500 for a wedding within a 35 mile radius of Indiana and all the photos are ala carte, that way you only have to order what you want. I also photograph the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner (see below) and am usually at the salon early in the am, so pretty much ALL DAY COVERAGE. This price also includes the cd of all full size images and the copyright release. Each wedding gets their own password protected website that you can view and order directly off of. Which makes it convenient for your guests from out of state who can't make the wedding, they can get online and look at photos and even order. The orders go through the photo lab, and ship directly to the customer, so you don't have to "Play" "Middle Man". Also you can look through your photos at anytime even 3 AM in your pajamas. I also have a bridal registry available, If you select me for your wedding photographer, I can give you business cards you can send with your shower invites, your guests can purchase gift cards that you can use towards your balance for my services, or towards photos, coffee table books, or albums. This is great for couples who may not need a lot, they may as well have their wedding photos paid for. I do take a LOT of photos at each wedding, I try to capture the "Essence" of the day as well as the standard "Posed" photos, averaging 1500/2000 photos at each wedding. I photograph the wedding rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner, which allows me to check the "Fine details" and make sure you will get the best photos (Example - one wedding - they were using vases for unity sand, no one took orange price tags off the vases - these would have been in all those photos),..... This also allows me find out prior to the ceremony, if I am allowed flash or not during the ceremony and where I am allowed to be. Also meeting the whole bridal party prior to the wedding allows them to be more comfortable with the camera being "Stuck in their face" all day for the Wedding. This makes for better and more natural photos. The photo Lab that I use is one of the largest photo labs in the US and even the NFL and Major League Baseball use it. As far as a deposit, I require a $200 deposit to hold your date
