She is an editor who loves her job, and the attention to detail it requires has rubbed off on her photography: her current focus is macro compositions. Michaels is a member of Women in Focus, Atlanta Photography Group, and Atlanta Photography Exhibit Inc. Michaels lives in Decatur, Georgia, with her always-supportive husband, bassist Darren Michaels, whose patience for her photographic endeavors knows no end.Michaels's photographs have been shown in exhibits in Atlanta and other cities, have been published in print and online, and are in private collections throughout the South.
