Whats the
BIG SECRET???
welcome
to crystals surf shop
If you’re in the water getting shacked, relaxing at the beach or heading out to that cool bar, Crystals Rocko has the quality surf brand lifestyle clothing for you and your family.
Named after a secret local fun surf break with crystal blue waves, established early 1985 a small store in Rockingham's industrial area, was the original birth place of Crystals Surf Shop. As the shop grew it was then decided to set up into the then new Rockingham City Shopping centre where all the locals and travellers could come buy their surfboards and clothing to match.
Always owned and bonded with local surfers it still is the one surf store you can rely on to have the real surf clothing and lifestyle goods, and never forgetting the fashion forward locals. Jacqui and family purchased Crystals Surf Shop early in 2003 from previous owner and uncle, Todd Taylor . With keen interests in both surfing and watersports Jacqui and the team have an extensive knowledge of the industry and bring a passionate and enthusiastic feel to the store whilst continuing the high quality of local customer service you expect from a professionally run family business.
LOCAL AND PROUD
receipts
are your lifeline
Here are three things that'll make your future "after-sale service" life super easy...
.
1. Keep your receipt as proof of purchase in case you have a warranty claim.
2. Read through the warranty conditions carefully.
3. Be aware that your warranty is void if the watch is opened or product altered by anyone other than the manufacturers service centre.
Check all swing tags on products for warranty information as every product differs between 3 months to 5 years and some items like selected wetsuits may have life time warranty.
Just bring the product in with your proof of purchase and we will send it away to get assessed for credit or replacement by the manufacturer.
Discounted and Sale items are exempt from our exchange and refund policy. Your decision to purchase is final on these items. They may still have waranty.

Global surf wear giant Quiksilver today announchas created a boardshort that will have significant and long-lasting impact on surf-wear design."
The unique (Patent Pending) combination of compression internal and performance banding has been created with a clear vision of where surfing can go if elite performance is enhanced not hindered by a boardshort. By maximizing coreboth highly surf specific as well as revolutionary in their ability to improve the surfers potential is a very exciting and challenging concept. And after meeting and working with the design team and board-riders from Quiksilver, it is obvious that this level of professionalism, expertise and enthusiasm has created a boardshort that will have significanted a new and exciting project in design innovation.
Refining and applying the latest advances in biomechanics to its board-riding equipment is the philosophy. Optimizing and enhancing performance in (surf, snow and skate) board-riding is the goal.
ophy. Optimizing and enhancing performance in (surf, snow and skate) board-riding is the goal.
Its a collaborative and ongoing project that sees Malcolm Brown - a celebrated Australian physiotherapist (ex-Wallabies and NSW Rugby) and biomechanics expert with an intimate knowledge of surfing working closely with Quiksilvers design teams and board-riders. In doing so the design process is being informed by and developed through the anatomical insights from sports science and the critical performance testing of elite board-riding. And significant results have already emerged as Brown explains:
"Taking performance based elements from other sports and reshaping them into garments that are both highly surf specific as well as revolutionary in their ability to improve the surfers potential is a very exciting and challenging concept. And after meeting and working with the design team and board-riders from Quiksilver, it is obvious that this level of professionalism, expertise and enthusiasm has created a boardshort that will have significant and long-lasting impact on surf-wear design."
The unique (Patent Pending) combination of compression internal and performance banding has been created with a clear vision of where surfing can go if elite performance is enhanced not hindered by a boardshort. By maximizing core strength, muscle efficiency and leg power, it enhances performance whilst you surf. And by reducing muscle damage and fatigue, the boardshort provides for improved recovery when youre not. Its the first dividend from a design project that is for the long-term and the future.
For over 40 years now style, function and (most importantly) performance have been the bedrocks of Quiksilver design.
Materials have got stronger, lighter and more flexible. Designs have reflected and often anticipated the technological and cultural zeitgeist:
Snaps and Velcro Flies, Yoked Waist, Scalloped Legs, ST Comp Range, Gen X, Air Core, The Cell.
And this new design project is underpinned by those same core principles. But its also framed by a clear understanding that as elite board-riders continue to aggressively and rapidly push the boundaries of the possible, surf, snow and skate equipment must do likewise.
Quiksilvers Research and Development is a design blueprint and a way ahead. A project that will innovate board-riding through performance enhancing design. And the first quantum leap has now been made. But its just the beginning.

Sunday 27th June: Surf Beach Board riders Round 4 - Secret Harbour
Another successful Board riders Round, cold conditions out of the water at Surf Beach this week, with slight North East offshore winds with waist to chest high peaky waves didn't keep surfers and families away. Highlights today include Mick Jahn and Shane Drew taking out 1st place in 2 separate events each and then Dave Ware sneaking through to finals with a great barrel seconds before the siren.
Our Micro Groms (9yrs and under) parent push in was a fantastic show of commitment by both children and parents in these icy conditions. Nice long small waves, all riding the waves to shore and most groms able to turn the boards along the face of the wave. Stand outs of the Micro Boys 1st Jake Jahn, 2nd Zane Perry and 3rd Quinn McColl. Micro Girls Division was very close 1st Chelsea Dry and 2nd Aleah Dickson.
The Grom Boys Brad Harrington podium 1st with 2nd place going to Jamie Rayner and 3rd Bryce Pugh. In the Grom Girls 1st Jaidee Booth 2nd Amily Pugh & 3rd Jasmine Martin. Cadets division saw Chris Rayner take out 1st place, Brad Harrington 2nd and 3rd Ethan Pugh. Juniors - 1st Michael Triscari 2nd Jarred Gillespie 3rd Jordan McConnell; Longboards - 1st Mick Jahn 2nd Jason Anderson & 3rd Dave Ware.
Masters 1st Mick Jahn 2nd Evan Perry 3rd Steve Rayner; Seniors 1st Shane Drew 2nd Cam McColl 3rd Steve Barton.
Then the event of the day Men's Opens Final 1st Shane Drew 2nd Mitch Gogan 3rd Matt Curley all 3 showing everyone how its done and well deserved bragging rights for Shane Drew at the Kite for after comp drinks with his 2 wins for the day .
Next Comp Sunday 25th July check www.surfbeachboardriders.com for details and full comp results and points.
2nd May 2010- The waves were over head height and were pumping.
The best were able to select the perfect waves show the crowd what they were made of.
The Longboarders enjoyed the long rides, the cadets and Groms showed courage and the parents push in was full on, parents, boards, 4-9yrs olds, loads of big wipeouts. Another great day and really enjoyable to watch.
Next comp is this weekend Sunday 30th May 7.30 Rego Surf Beach Secret Harbour www.surfbeachboardriders.com
