Born in Nayarit, Mexico, Ricardo moved to Las Vegas, Nevada by the age of one. Ricardo specializes in illustration, street painting, and graphic design. In addition to his fine art, Ricardo is also a Muralist. His work is seen throughout Las Vegas, ranging from local churches, high schools, daycares, salons, and bars. Ricardo began painting in high school. Worked part time as a caricature artist at the Stratosphere Hotel &Casino and applying vinyl graphics for U Name It Arts. In his senior year in high school Ricardo did his first mural as part of Las Vegas Centennial With his art teacher, Doug Mckellyand fellow art students. Centennial celebrated Las Vegas 100th birthday with 100 murals around the city. Also that year Ricardo was introduced to street painting. The street painting competition is at the Summerlin Art Festival where more than 120 artist display their work. Ricardo is the festivals Best of Show winner from 06-07and in 2008 was chosen to be the "Featured Artist" of the festival. In addition he has done work for Scare Tactics a reality show on SYFY and has recently illustrated the book cover of Frog Man, a novel by Brian Huber. In June 2009 Ricardo participated in The Pasadena Chalk Festival the world's largest street painting festival in the world. More than 600 artists participate each year.
