Ernie Hawkins has over 25 years of musical experience both on stage, and behind the mixing board. He is a drummer (Louder than God, Hanson Brothers, and Removal) as well as seasoned touring audio engineer (Nomeansno, Zu and DOA). After receiving a degree in 1991 from the San Francisco College of Recording Arts he moved to Canada where he operated Big M Studios for over 10 years.
Now living in Portland,Ernie is a proud member of the IATSE (Local 28) he has mixed everything from small bands at the White Eagle to multi-media stages at large music festivals. His credits also include shows at the Newmark Theater, Convention Center, Rose Garden, the Crystal Ballroom and the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. Ernie brings a passion for music, attention to detail and a lifetime of experience to every event.
