Coversmith Bio Band HistoryCoversmith took life in 2006 as an idea among friends who all went to the same Church and enjoyed playing music together. It was launched initially as an outlet for these friends to play all their favorite cover songs and to have fun doing it. Currently only one original member remains from that time. Two of the older members have since moved out of the area and the others simply quit the band. After a lot of searching and several auditions the current lineup finally came together during the winter of 2009. After several months of rehearsing and building up a huge repertory of mostly rock songs from the 1960's through the 2000's the band started accepting bookings for area venues as well as for some private parties and weddings. One of the main goals of the band is to be as authentic and as true to the original studio versions of songs as possible and to have a great time doing it. So if youre looking for a fun, high energy, rockin dance band for your next corporate event, private party, wedding or bar then Coversmith is just the ticket!
