The Gardener´s Daughter
This witty tale of manners follows the life of a gardener’s daughter who finds herself thrust into London’s high society. Sally Brighouse wants to put her knowledge of herbal medicine to use by working in an Apothecary Shop. Her ambition is no different from that of any young woman today. The intricacies of Victorian Society, however, provide a wealth of challenges for her to overcome as well as providing a rich backdrop to her story.
An Oriental Garden
The second instalment of Sally’s quest for fulfilment finds her journeying to India. She meets with Maharajas, Maharanis and concubines; colonial officials from the East India Company; and Indian villagers. She has to fight to save her husband’s life and finds herself serving the English parliament as she makes the long journey home alone.
The Rigby File
This tongue in cheek collection of incidents in agent Rigby’s life has been documented by twelve well-known crime writers and Angela Clarence (then writing under the name Angela Cheyne). The Sunday Times said of her contribution "...a witty, Waugh-like scamper abut myxomatosis."
Published in 1989 by Hodder and Stoughton there are still

Excerpt from Talk Radio Europe interview:
An inspirational background...
"..Looking back it seems quite logical that my years have been filled with drama, travel and writing,
My actress grandmother Zena Dare was an Edwardian celebrity appearing on thousands of picture postcards. She returned to the stage in her forties and worked with such luminaries as Ivor Novello, Noël Coward and Richard Attenborough, finally creating the role of the elegant Mrs Higgins in the first London production of My Fair Lady .
My great grandfather, the author Rider Haggard wrote world famous best-selling tales of adventure, romance and re-incarnation such as King Solomon’s Mines and She - penning the prototype for Indiana Jones.
And of course my years working as Harold Pinter's assistant was a real masterclass in penmanship..."
