Compassion Winona is a ministry of Community Bible Church in Winona, MN.
Our purpose is to love God and love our neighbor's as we would ourselves.
Compassion Winona serves Jesus by endeavoring to assist in both the spiritual and physical needs of the Winona community through prayer, feeding the hungry, mentoring, building friendships, investing in children's lives and engaging the Winona community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Compassion Winona is designed to let Jesus shine in Winona through our hospitality.

WHAT'S HAPPENING::We will be serving a catered meal for our Winona neigbors who are in need to share the love and compassion of Christ. This will be a great night of music, food, friendship and meeting people you may not know.
Would free catered meal help make your holiday season a little brighter? Do you have a neighbor that would appreciate this night? Please RSVP by Dec. 1st - you can use this site, call the church office or email.

FOOD DISTRIBUTION
When: November 21st: 10am - 4pm
Where: Community Bible Church
WHAT'S HAPPENING: Feed the Hungry is again donating many thousands of pounds of food to us that we will be giving to those in need from Winona. On Nov. 21st from 10am to 4pm we will open up Community Bible Church to anyone in need to come and take some food home with them.
Are you needing a little extra food to get you through the holiday season?
Do you know someone - a neighbor, co-worker or friend who could use a little extra this holiday season? Invite them to come with you.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
FOOD DISTRIBUTION:
Tuesday Nov. 3rd - Unloading the truck at church - 10am.
Friday Nov. 20th - Help set up for Saturday - 8pm.
Saturday Nov. 21st - We need help from 10am - 4pm
to help distribute food, carry boxes to cars,
get to know people and build friendships
with your Winona neighbors. Could you
bake cookies for this day? Could you help
with a craft?
Sunday Nov. 22nd - We will be loading up a few vans
and trucks and having a few smaller
distributions around town. Do you have a
truck or van we could use? Do you have
hands that could carry boxes this day?
CHRISTMAS DINNER:
We will need help leading up to the 12th with
decorating, set-up, cookie baking, planning and
more.
Saturday Dec. 12th: The day of the dinner.
We will need lots of help this day...you
could help with serving food, serving
tables, talking to our guests, hosting,
giving rides, clean-up, set-up and more...
