The Nebraska State Student Nurses' Association or NSSNA is dedicated to developing a collaborative and cooperative structure between nursing schools within Nebraska through leadership, education, scholarship, legislation, and networking. NSSNA is associated with the National Student Nurses' Association (http://www.nsna.org/).

Meet the Board.
The Nebraska State Student Nurses Association (NSSNA) was founded on March 24, 1948. Its rich and vibrant history has been established by countless nursing students who have been mentored in professionalism and leadership. NSSNA became part of the National Student Nurses Associaction (NSNA) that was established in 1952 under the guidance of the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the National League for Nursing (NLN).
Membership is open to students in all nursing programs that prepare students for registered nurse licensure. This includes students preparing for an associate degree, a diploma, or a baccalaureate degree in nursing as well as students in generic masters degree programs and doctoral programs. Registered Nurses (RNs) in BSN completion programs and pre-nursing students are also eligible for membership.
Members of Nebraska Student Nurse Association chapters (SNAs) are NSSNA (State) members when they pay NSNA (National) membership dues.
