New York native Michelle Ten knew from an early age that she wanted to be in fashion. Cutting out her favorite looks from magazines like Vogue, Elle and Mirabella she would create her own magazines out of photo albums.
Michelle holds degrees in both Fashion Buying and Merchandising and Advertising and Marketing Communications and began her career as a fashion assistant at The Source Magazine. After taking time off from the magazine to work freelance for artists like Ashanti and Full Surface Records, Michelle returned to The Source as Fashion Editor.
In 2004, she marked her departure as an independent consultant and stylist and began Missfit Styles- a fashion styling, writing, and brand consulting service. Clients include Daddy Yankee, Kid Cudi,URB Magazine, XLR8R Magazine, Sean John, Chris Brown, Ludacris, Sean Kingston, and D Woods of Danity Kane.
Michelle continues to 'cut out her favorite looks' and maintains an online trend forecasting blog MISSFITSTYLES.

With fashion being her passion, she knew she wanted to have a career doing what she loves.
Michelle attended Nassau Community College and received an Associates Degree in Fashion Buying and Merchandising. During an internship in Visual Merchandising, she immediately hired on staff. Michelle transferred to the Fashion Institute of Technology where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications.
After her time as Fashion Editor at The Source Magazine, Michelle began her career as a stylist working with artists like Ashanti, Chris Brown, Sean Kingston and Ludacris.
In 2004 she officially registered MISSFITStyles, an assortment of fashion services ranging from styling, writing, and brand consulting. Clients include labels such as New Era, Sean John and publications such as URB Magazine, XLR8R Magazine and her childhood favorite Vogue.
Michelle continues to "cut out her favorite looks" by maintaining MISSFITStyles BLOG, a daily fashion news source dedicated to "Saving the World One Look at a Time."
To replace the photos and add your own, click on any of the photos then on the photo list icon on the bottom menu.
You have a second minipage inside the PORTFOLIOS slide for subcategories.
You can edit all the menu item names by selecting them and using the edit text icon on the bottom menu.
To add more subcategories:
* Select the minipage inside the PORTFOLIOS slide, go to the slide manager icon on the bottom menu, rollover any of the slides and click the duplicate icon
* Create a new menu item or button for it (or duplicate and edit an existing one)
* Then reassign the orange arrows links to the photo album in your new subcategory using the behaviors icon (appears on the bottom menu when you select the arrow)
