The human nervous system is one of the most important parts of the body. It enables us to walk, talk and interact with our environment. One of the most basic components of the nervous system is the neuron, which is a cell that specializes in recieveing information from throughout the entire body and transmitting it to the brain. Neurons are able to send these signals in a fraction of a second using electrochemical signaling. These electrical signals allow neurons to communicate with the brain almost instantly.
