20 Year Sentence For Perpetrator In IJM Guatemala Case

GUATEMALA CITY, GUATEMALA This February, after a long day in court, IJM client David wrapped up his testimony as by looking at the judge and stating clearly, I would like for you to please give me justice. Davids plea was answered resoundingly when the perpetrator of his abuse was sentenced to 20 years in prison for initiating and forcing the violent sexual assault of the child.

The OneLifeWorth Justice Network is a multifaceted organization that inspires, informs, equips and connects those who long to see justice prevail in the earth and burn in their heart to do something about it.
The purpose of OneLifeWorth is to serve as an exhaustive networking resource focused on building relationships to see justice fill the earth in every sphere, every nation, and every community.

Right now, if you wanted to do something about the injustice of rape, homelessness, or even child soldiers in Africa, you would go onto a search engine and could spend hours trying to find out how to be informed, who you could talk to about it, what you could do about it in your hometown, and even who you could connect with that is already doing something. Many times the information you are looking for still remains incomplete.
The OneLifeWorth Justice Network is a website where people can come and find answers to those questions. Justice issues ranging from homelessness and suicide, to child abuse and human trafficking, the OneLifeWorth Network will provide detailed information under six categories: how to be informed, how to give, how to pray, what you can do today, where you can go, and what's the good news.
Product
It is our hope that the OneLifeWorth Justice Network is self sustaining. In order to see this happen we have designed and created a line of product that inspires others to take a stand for justice. Through clothing, music, and art we hope the heart of God is captured to see the restoration of justice fill the earth.
We also have a vision to see the creativity of the nations represented as we market and sell product created by those who are recovering from the injustices they’ve experienced. Ranging from greeting cards created by orphans of genocide, jewelry created by victims of HIV/AIDS, to purses made by women rescued out of sex trafficking, we hope to see this industry expand so that as these people recover they are able to find abundant provision for every need they face.
Conferences
OneLifeWorth has a vision to host conferences with a dual focus. One is to gather those with a heart for justice to inspire, equip, and inform through worship, connecting to the Father’s heart for justice, networking, and focusing in on specific justice issues through workshops.
The other focus is on honoring those who are already on the field. Whether through a breakfast, a weekend retreat, or a formal dinner, we want to bring encouragement, refreshment, and inspiration to those already working across the nations to see justice fulfilled.
Disaster Relief
OneLifeWorth’s purpose is to serve those who are working to see justice come to every person in the earth. With this in mind we hope to serve organizations that are already on the ground, especially in circumstances related to disaster relief. We hope to provide a bridge between these organizations so that resources can be distributed most effectively, people affected by disasters can get everything they need, and organizations can focus on what they are best at. We are willing to take on managing resources (what do NGO’s have? what do NGO’s need?) and managing transportation for relief workers and organizations.
