The Senior Boys Basketball team had a great 2009 season as they participated at the 2009 OFSAA in Ottawa Ontario. Lead by their captains Felix Adjei, Curtis Baanee and team MVP Riam Sigua the Eagles battled their way to an impressive 11-2 record in the TDCAA West Division.
After defeating Upper Canada College (UCC) in the Ofsaa Qualifier the Eagles made school history by becoming the first boys basketball team to make it to Ofsaa.
The Eagles of 2010 have difficult shoes to fill. Losing seniors Mussie Haile, Riam and Raynard Sigua, Curtis Baanee and Felix Adjei the eagles will be looking to the returning seniors to step up and help their new teammates learn the system.
The 2010 season will be an exciting season as the Eagles look to repeat their Ofsaa run of 2009.
The coaching staff would like to congratulate Mussie Haile, Curtis Baanee, and Felix Adjei on continuing their basketball careers at the post secondary level. This year all three Don Bosco Eagles graduates will be wearing the Seneca Sting logo on their chests! Congratulations Men!!
