In 2002 Cloud Peak Initiatives, Inc. was created in response to community need. Since that time human need led to the development of the many programs we now offer. We exist with no federal or state funding, earning our keep the traditional way through honest hard work that benefits others.
On June 1, 2010 Cloud Peak earned a three year accredidation from CARF International. In Feburary of 2011 Cloud peak was awarded Certification as a Community Mental Health Center by the State of Wyoming Dept of Health. Cloud Peak has maintainted Wyoming Certification as an Outpatient Substance Abuse Center since 2006

These services include but are not limited to:
Individual Therapy, Substance Abuse Treatment & Assessments, Psycho-Social Habilitation, Case Management & Advocacy, Crisis Intervention, Lactation Counseling, Day Treatment, Family Re-Unification & Preservation, Parenting Education, Martial Arts Training, Communication Skills, Life Skills, Empathy, Compassion and Safety.
Services are designed to meet the needs of the individual and can be received in the home, community or at the agency. Times are flexible and staff remain on-call 24/7
Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) are services provided in the home and in the community. These services include but are not limited to: Therapy, case management, advocacy, and goal oriented life skills. Small teams of 2-4 professionals are available 24/7 meeting with the client several times per week. Severe persistant mental illness, generational trauma, poverty or a difficulty coping with everyday events show reduction and clients imrpove their Quality of Life "QOL" measurably with the "QOLI" inventory.
Intensive Family Preservation Services (IFPS) share similiarities with ACT and extend to whole families both in and out of the home. Families are provided with advanced communication training, parenting education, community resource management and emotional literacy skills to enhance the family QOL.
Substance Abuse Treatment
Wyoming SAD and CARF certified substance abuse provider offering substance abuse evaluations, Level I adult outpatient, Level II-V day treatment, criminal justice, co-occurring addictions and after care treatment in an outpatient setting that is sensitive to your schedule, strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences. If Cloud Peak is unable to meet the needs of the individual we will provide case management and stabilization services until a treatment option can be located.
Day Treatment
10 and 28 day psychocsocial habilitation services presented through educational instruction, field experience, group discussion, therapy. Transcending the hidden social class structure and developing human potential is the goal. Enhanced personal relationships, living conditions, personal empowerment and a reduction of life stressors are realized at program completion. The 28 day session of this program also satisfies the state requirement for Day Treatment Substance Abuse Treatment as an alternative to Inpatient for some indivduals. Sessions are tailored to meet the specific needs of the current individuals attending the session and change frequently. The individual may attend more then one session with out the risk of repeat information.
