The Sinadya sa Halaran Festival is the complex festival of the City of Roxas and the Province of Capiz. It is a various festival in that it is celebrated for both cultural and religious reasons. It is eminent every first weekend of December in celebration of the Feast of the Virgin of the Immaculate Concepcion who also takes place to be the patroness of the City of Roxas. Sinadya sa Halaran boasts of colorful activities resembling the grand procession of festivals, the fluvial parade, the lighted river floaters. There is also the conventional seafood festival and the grand pyrotechnic exhibit.
Philippines are celebrated different Places to explore. In Philippine legends, the aswang is a witch or viscera sucker. But its only a fiction guys!
Roxas City. The Catholic Church urged its members to oppose the third Aswang Festival intended for Oct. 27-28 by holding prayer vigils in every parishes.
Organizers believed that the festival would help out the negative insight about Capiz as a place where the aswang are originate.
